I just got back to BK from London, a very cool town, lots to see and I hope to go back very soon.
I linked up with James from Hostem and the good Dr. Romanelli, for the opening of DR’s “The Prescription Shoppe”.
James was working on a new space that hadn’t been renovated or touched in what appeared to be decades. The idea was to have an old school house party, the kind where you wreck the place and everyone has a great time. They gutted the space, brought me in along with London legend Drax and we proceeded to handle biz, Trans-Atlantic style.
The XX came through and represented with an awesome DJ set, Absolut showed up with bartenders and mad Vodka and we all had an amazing night; shout to Shoreditch. It was really fun and such a different vibe than the all too common fashion or art parties that are just too clean and pretentious.
Thanks to everyone who came thru, to London, and to James and Pandora, Mark, DRx, Al OHWOW, The Brown’s, Drax, Stephen Exit, The XX, Hostem, Darren, Angus, Alex, Alexandra, Combat Simon, and Will Nash.

Jamie XX, mad creative and progressive. Peep this…

Romy XX killed it!

Good times…

Shoreditch in the house…

Things just started getting blurry..

and blurrier….

Thanks London. Cheers!!

Introducing The Krink Tom Sachs Special Edition Marker Set.
Limited to 100 pieces. Each piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
Highest quality. Handmade in the USA.

We worked closely with Tom to create markers that suited specific needs for his work. Tom uses a lot of different markers in his work and he has strict standards related to flow, durability and archival quality. He tested a wide variety of Krink products and we formulated inks to meet his specs. The K-12 rollerball is a brand new marker tip that Tom is really excited about, It’s unique to the market, and is a Krink / Tom Sachs exclusive. We also formulated a new red “Slow Drip Formula” for our K-66 marker meeting Tom’s specific specs. Perfect for NASA logos on any surface. We also have a new barrel design and over cap for the Krink K-70. Tom liked the ink and flow properties so much that he felt no change was needed for this Krink classic.
To complete the set, Tom created a custom “Dock” to hold the markers, taking his trademark “Police Line Do Not Cross” wood stock and drilling out custom holes for each of the markers to sit in. Each base is equipped with rubber feet, signed on the front, and numbered on the bottom.

Available at tomsachs.com and at colette.fr

Stilwerk in Hamburg is an old factory building that has been beautifully renovated into a gallery of hi-end design and furniture shops.

The renovation work is incredible and I thought the overall concept was great. The originally building was a hops factory and they have kept many architectural elements from the original factory. I had the opportunity to paint a piece in their 6th floor lounge and also painted two large engines that were once used in the processing of hops and are now on display on the ground floor.

Thanks to the Vicious Gallery, and Nana at Stilwerk.
