This meticulous drawing was created by Noah McDonough using a Krink K-70 marker on paper. The piece is done in Noah’s classic graffiti style and employs a stipple technique for shading and depth. Noah was really interested in taking this style and scaling it up to a larger size, we set him up in the studio with a 5x12 foot canvas, a few K-72 markers, and let him get to work. The results are pretty amazing.

To work on a large canvas, Noah used a K-72 marker with matte black water-based ink. He flipped the K-72 nib to get a perfect circle and then used a razor to help loosen it up, this technique gives a softer feel when drawing.

Thousands of dots and a few markers later, the canvas was done!
