Artist Craig Costello worked with photographer Alessandro Simonetti to create this 36-page catalog documenting the creation of two large, commissioned works. The result is an intimate view of Costello’s methods, a significant part of which lies in the creation of the tools he uses to paint, as well as striking vignettes of the final works. Included is an essay by Carlo McCormick about the evolution in Costello’s work from the graffiti writing street culture to abstract painting. 36 pages with cover, black and white on uncoated stock. 7.5 x 1 in., 19 x 25.5 cm.
