A new series of works on paper by Craig Costello. Using the Krink Dauber, Costello explores the manipulation of letters and shapes to create abstract forms. His gestures and movements are deliberate, but he invites paint to pool and seep into the page to become organic and unpredictable—a delicate balance of perfection and imperfection. The works featuring words and phrases push the boundaries of legibility.
