José Augusto Amaro Capela, also known as Zezão, started writing graffiti in Sao Paulo in the 90s. He went on to work on walls of sewages, abandoned houses, and deserted alleyways which attracted attention to unusual urban landscapes. In this way, Zezao has created a conversation between the marginal world and the surface world we know.
All works: Zezão, Untitled, 2015, K-60 on canvas, 12 x 16″.
